There are several advantages that TeamDrive has to offer. The application provides you with storage space in the cloud and with quick access to your uploaded files. In addition, TeamDrive is a convenient means of collaborating with other people. Users with the appropriate rights may access your files from their own computers. Furthermore, the possibility of deciding which files should be visible online, attaching notes or switching between versions allows you and your coworkers to work efficiently, rather than stepping on each other's tows.

Like with other cloud-based applications, you have to create an online account before using TeamDrive. Additionally, you have to purchase the storage space you intend to use. Uploading files and organizing them in folders and sub-folders can be done on a clean and simple user interface. All you have to do is drag and drop your files over this interface and the application will upload them right away.

Active and inactive spaces in the cloud, contacts, logs and other items can be viewed on the right side of the interface and you can switch between them through a series of navigation tabs, on the left side. A series of options are available for each file or folder, which allow you to open them, move or copy them to another location, download them to a local folder, set them to offline mode, view their characteristics and more.

Notes can be attached to individual files and folders, so that other users may know how to handle them. It is also possible to send items to specific users by email. Collaborators can be invited to a space by sending an email invitation, from the same user interface. For security reasons, the application lets you encrypt and password protect invitations and attach a message.

Pros

You can upload your files to the cloud and work with them from your desktop. The application allows you to invite other users to work in your space from their own computers.

Cons

There is no TeamDrive web interface available. Exchanging files and instructions with your collaborators can be done over great distances with great ease while using TeamDrive.
